Ashleye and Tanar love the mountains so for their engagement session I suggested that we head to over to Red Lodge and use the beautiful Beartooth Mountains as a backdrop. It might be summer in Billings, but when you get up into the other side of Red Lodge it's still very much spring, the first place we stopped was a hill filled with purple wild flowers.

After that we headed up to the Lake Fork Trailhead for some more engagement photo ops.

Montana is "Big Sky" country so we headed up the Beartooth Pass for sunset and got a good one! If you keep heading up the pass you will still find lots of snow.
