Wedding ceremony at Quaking Aspin Ranch, real Montana wedding.
On a beautiful day in June, friends and family from all over the country gathered at Quaking Aspen Ranch to celebrate the marriage of Chelsea & Brian. The couple, who met in Montana and love adventure, found it extremely important that their guests have a taste of the real Montana experience. That is why they selected Quaking Aspen Ranch for the event.
One of my favorite things to observe is how a couple personalizes their wedding ceremony. Chelsea & Brian incorporated a horseshoe blessing into theirs. Each member of the bridal party and family took turns passing the horseshoe to each other saying a blessing over it for the soon-to-be newlyweds. The horseshoe came from Brian’s childhood bedroom and will be displayed in their home to remind them of the love and support given by their guests.
Jack, their border collie, was excited to serve as the ring bearer.
With how Chelsea beamed anytime Brian was around it was easy to see the love and connection they have together.
Quaking Aspen Ranch
Quaking Aspen Ranch is about 45 minutes from Billings, located just south of Absarokee, MT, and tucked in by the East Rosebud Creek only a stone’s throw from the Beartooth Mountains. The venue has a variety of accommodations, from private rooms in the log lodge to glamping cabins (each equipped with its own bathroom) depending on the level of comfort required by guests. The property also features a rustic barn that makes an excellent location for dancing and receptions. Another notable feature is the historic high-cage truss bridge that is a wonderful location for photos and is a dinner location option. Speaking of dinner, the food at the Ranch is always amazing! In-house catering is provided to ensure the quality of your wedding day meal. Also noteworthy are the several small ponds for photos or fly fishing!
