Real Montana weddings and love stories are my favorites to capture. This is a candid look at some of my most recent wedding and engagement photography sessions. This engagement photography session happened up in Red Lodge and the couple will be getting married this summer in Billings, MT.
It is absolutely a privilege being invited to be a part of your wedding day. This destination Wyoming wedding happened down in Cody. I love being the photographer at destination weddings. The guest list is typically a little smaller and that helps me to focus on the connections between you and your wedding guests. Most importantly, the guest list of destination weddings is made of the most important people to you and they would make it no-matter what. Travel weddings can be more difficult to get to, especially when traveling to areas like Montana or Wyoming in the winter. However they also have the potential for the power and beauty to be introduced to your wedding photography.
Despite what you may have been told I don’t only shoot weddings. Seattle has long been on my list of places to check out. I even looked for photo schools in the area & so much of my favorite music from high school is from there. Speaking of high school, Abigail will be graduating soon. I love pulling out real moments and connections between the people I’m photographing. If you’re in love all you need to look great in your photos is to be interacting and your photos will come out just as sweet, loving, or goofy as the two of you are together. If your planning a wedding you will need some photos to show how you feel. Wedding and engagement photos that show the real you looking relaxed and happy is the goal for any photography session.
Sierra & Erik got married on the last day that looked and felt like summer in 2018. Down by the mighty Yellowstone just outside of Billings at a little venue called Swift River Ranch. This was a wonderful Montana wedding!

“Meet me in Montana!” Cary & Summer came all that way from Californian to the Rockin' Tj Ranch for there destination wedding in Bozeman, MT! It was a beautiful summer day for the wedding under the big sky! It’s no wonder that Bozeman is national destination wedding spot with wedding venues like this one!
This was a fun one! What a wonderful group of people who got together for the marriage of Kassi & Kiley! Friday night we gathered at their home between Bozeman and Bridger Bowl for some food, drink, campfires and camping. What a Montana way to start out the weekend! Saturday morning it was show time. The galls got ready at Revive Salon in Gallatin Gateway and the guys took care of some last minute details down at the venue. (The venue was a BEAUTIFUL private property just down the road from their house.) We used the beautiful Bridger mountains for the backdrop for formals and wedding ceremony. After the knot was tied, we had some tasty food, listened to speeches and got down to some live music that didn't stop until well after the sun went down!
