A big congratulations to Kelly and Sam!
I had a blast with them a few weeks ago out at Camelot Ranch. I absolutely love working with couples like these two and want to give them a few more photos when I work on finishing up the wedding edit.
Kelly's family has a wedding tradition that I think is absolutely fantastic. All of her aunts (like 10 of them) get together and help out when any of the cousins get married. I first saw them roll in during hair and makeup at Ulta Salon. The aunts brought in mimosas (a must for any wedding morning) & breakfast. They also helped with flowers and some of the decorations at Camelot Ranch.
Sam's side also has a wedding tradition that is awesome! Her parents make cakes for the family & they did a superb job on this one! I mean look at that cake!!
After hair and makeup we headed out to Camelot Ranch to finish getting ready.
Back at the ranch when everyone finished getting ready we did formals & then it was time for the ceremony!
Sam & Kelly were hoping for an outdoor wedding but mother nature had other plans. Fortunately, the inside of Camelot Ranch is well suited to accommodate indoor weddings & had been beautifully decorated for the reception and made a perfect backdrop for the big day.
After the wedding ceremony we celebrated with libation, food & dancing. We got to watch the full moon rise as the rainy afternoon turned into a beautiful evening!
Montana Wedding Vendor Appreciation.
Of course lots of hands go into making a wedding day what it is, so I would like to take a moment and say thank you to all the hard working vendors! (This section should probably be a blog of it's own but I'm just going to attach it to this, go big or go home right??)
The beautiful Camelot Ranch (FB) is one of the newest premier wedding venues in Billings & is located out on the west end. I very much look forward to working at this location again. The barn has beautiful light in every direction! If you are getting married at this venue let's talk. You can get hold of me HERE.
I strongly recommend their services. The event design was courtesy of the lovely Lindsay Richardson with Better Together Events (FB). B2G is working on moving to a new location in Billings. A place with about 5X as much space as they have now and they will soon have SO much room for activity's! And the word is that we have at least one more wedding together this summer! =)
Patrick Branger set the uplighting & kept everyone out on the dance floor when representing Montana Premiere Entertainment. (FB) Patrick is seriously talented. I've know him as Pattycakes the Clown & as a firefighter but had no idea he was also a skilled DJ!
